Am I the only one?

Deus ex Grilla

Vegetarier
Servus!

Despite being here in Germany for 8.5 years and being able to speak almost flawless Germanm, my writing skills suck and it comes out more like "Fleisch, feuer, GUT!"

Anyone else out ther? Are you all willing to put up with my shitty grammar?

Pax,

DeG

Howdy Grilla !

Welcome to the club and thanks a lot for the first ever post on the english forums.
Maybe now some of the other non german speakers/writers will be bold enough to post here, too.

I feel with you, as i am on the US barbecue forums quite often.

Hiya, DeG, a heartfelt welcome to the best BBQ-related forum in Germany (surely the most expensive one, in any case, from the various "inspirations" regarding vital equipment purchases ). About effing time that some english-spoken folks find their way here. BTW where are you from originally? Just curious...

Anyway, enjoy yourself (I'm sure you will).

Servus!

Formerly from Arizona, where I learned grilling from a father that did it all year long.

I'll try with the German but I would ask that you all be a bit patient with me! :D

Been reading some of the other posts and it certianly looks like you all are having a good time. I might have to drop by the GSV get-together in June!

No, you're not...

Well, maybe until today you were (congrats on the first post in the English Forum, by the way). I have been meaning to post something here for awhile now (under pressure from another GSV Forum member who shall go un-named, you know who you are). Anyway, where in Germany do you call home. I call Frankfurt home. Prior to that, Augusta , Georgia (home of the Masters golf Tournament) was called home. Anyhow, good luck witht he forum and the meat.

Hi,

actually I've been waiting for this post quite a long time :)

It's awesome to have a polyglot forum.

Welcome aboard :D

Welcome, Michael,
if you don´t understand German, never mind to ask in English. You´ll get an answer.
