American cranberry sauce

Traditional amercan sauce for thanksgiving or christmas.




  1. Wash orange with hot water, and cut some zests of a quarter of the orangepeel. Then squeeze the juice out of the orange.
  2. Peel the shallot and chop thoroughly.
  3. Wash the berries and let the water drip off.
  4. Mix it all together with redwine, juice, salt cayenne and gelifying sugar.
  5. Cook with medium heat and let it simmer for 4-5 minutes
  6. Fill sauce in preserving jar, and close the lid. Keep it cool.
  7. The cranberry sauce is nonperishable for 2 weeks.
