Oysters on a skewer



  1. Open the fresh oysters, clean them and extract from the shell. As an alternative you can use japanese canned oysters but handle with care, they easily fall apart. wrap each oyster with a single small slice of bacon. Ask your butcher to cut really thin slices. Put 3-4 oysters onto a wooden pick or skewer and grill them for a short time. The bacon should only start to get a litte brown. Then sprinkle some cayenne pepper onto them.
