BRead dumplings

A very tasty way to use up stale rolls.

Very easy

  1. Cut the rolls into small slices or dices and put them into a bowl. Bring the milk to boil and pour it over the rolls. Cover the bowl and let the rolls soak for 20 to 30 minutes.
  2. Cut the onions and bacon into fine dices. Finely chop the parsley.
  3. Melt the butter in an coated frying pan. Steam the onions. bacon and parsley shortly in it and add them to the rolls.
  4. Knead all well. If the dough is too sticky, add some flour (it depends from the size of the eggs). Using moistened hands, form equally sized sumplings.
  5. Bring sufficient salt water to boil in a big pot. Let the dumplings steep in it on medium heat for about 20 minutes.
  6. As soon as they rise to the surface, they are done. Remove them with a skimming ladle and let them strain well.
