Filled jalapeño peppers wrapped in bacon

  1. Wash the jalapeño peppers, and cut in half. Extract the seeds and partitions.
  2. Season the cream cheese with salt, pepper, spices or herbs to your taste. Fill the cream into the jalapeños. (Leave the peppers in half or put them together again as you like it)
  3. Wrap the half or whole peppers with a 4 inch slice of bacon.
  4. Grill the peppers with medium heat until the bacon is crispy.
  5. Let them chill a while and serve.
  6. For the filling any cheese is suitable. Maybe yo have to grind some.
  7. Normally jalapeños aren't very hot. You can heat them up with some cayenne pepper or hot sauce in the cream cheese.
  8. For the hard-boiled you can also fill some habanero peppers.
