Buzzer sounds even if disabled

I just bought a brand new Nano from Wlan Thermo shop. My controller is running version 0.9.8.

I am trying to just get a push message and no audible alarm. So in the SYSTEM menu I have Push=checked and Buzzer=checked.

I have a temperature high temp alarm triggered and both the push and audible alarm fire. Why does the buzzer sound? Is this a bug?

I had the same problem, update to v0.9.9 and this behaviour will disappear (update your nano with IP_of_your_nano/update) - have fun!!!

That worked!! Thank you. Also thank you for sharing how to update versions. Is there an area where I can check to see what the most current firmware versions are and release notes?
I read on the wiki that a yellow Exclamation mark indicates that a firmware update is available. Perhaps I don't need to look for firmware.

Absolutely right. Your wlanthermo will show you if there is an official update (yellow exclamaition mark). The versions in between are prereleases for testing.
